banana powerhouse smoothie

Here is a smoothie that I look forward to drinking every morning when I want something different (other than my fruit/vegetable juices or avocado smoothies). It was originally a Nigella Lawson recipe but I simplified it by taking out the honey. In addition you could add in a scoop of cereal like Nestum or wheat germ.

This is unbelievably delicious and after a serving, I could hold my appetite until lunch (like the avocado smoothies). Take out the coffee granules and serve it to the kids! They will ask for more! Enjoy.
